James, or Jim, is a graduate of McGeorge School of Law, University of the
Pacific. McGeorge is located in California's political hub, Sacramento. Known
for its toughness and rigorous academic programs, McGeorge enjoys some of
the highest national competitive rankings published by some of the most
prominent academic and legal bulletins, such as the Gourman Report,
Princeton Review, California Lawyer, and National Jurist.
Before law school, Jim attended San Diego State University where he was a
member of the Dean's List for three semesters before graduating. Jim began
his legal career at Selman Breitman in west Los Angeles, and later joined
Breidenbach, Buckley, Huchting, Halm & Hamblet, a firm in downtown Los
Angeles that has produced a number of Superior Court judges over the past
several decades. Jim started his career practicing personal injury defense, and
while at the Breidenbach firm Jim practiced almost exclusively lawyer's
malpractice defense.
Jim is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles,
Consumer Attorneys of California, and the Los Angeles County Bar
Association. His accomplishments have led him to represent clients from all
over the state, including the Bay Area and San Diego. Born and raised in
neighboring Orange County, Jim is native to the Los Angeles region and
Southern California.
